Visible Mending Workshop

As the seasons change, it is a good time to take a closer look at the knits we love and get them ready for another winter. A small hole, a worn elbow, or a snag does not have to mean the end of a beloved garment. In this hands-on visible mending workshop, you will learn a woven repair technique that transforms damage into an intentional and beautiful design detail. Rather than hiding a repair, we will highlight it, strengthening the fabric while honoring the history of the garment.

You will be guided step by step through the fundamentals of this technique in a supportive and creative setting. We will explore how to stabilize damaged areas, build a woven structure, and choose threads that either blend beautifully with the garment or create a thoughtful contrast.
