Jane Davies
President

Jane is an artist and small business owner in Rupert. In addition to spearheading the Sheldon Store Project, she is co-chair of the Rupert Town Green Committee. Jane can be seen around Rupert walking her dog, Pearl, or biking on the rail trail.

Jed Rubin
Board Member
​
Jed became a full time resident of West Pawlet in 1971. From 1975 - 2003, he was a dairy farmer on Henry Steele’s farm in North Rupert. Since 1990, Jed has been on the Planning Commission and Development Review Board of Rupert. He has been a lister in Rupert for more than 20 years. Jed is currently the owner and operator of a small composting business.​

Debra Fuller
Treasurer

Debra has worked for many non-profits, including Merck Forest and Farmland Center. Her background includes teaching, scheduling and coordinating public programs and special events as well as administrative work.

Mary Dickson
Board Member
​
Mary owns two historic homes, her beloved Rupert Train Depot and her primary residence in Pennsylvania which is an 1800s converted church. She is retired from the corporate world, and now assists non-profit organizations with project management, fundraising, graphic design, and event planning.

John La Vecchia
Vice President & Secretary
​
John is Rupert's zoning administrator, and is very familiar with the Town's administration, its land use regulations, and our Town Plan. He is also, by profession, a building designer, and can help us navigate code requirements and permitting, as well as help with design plans and building materials.

Janet Hentschel
Board Member
​
Janet has a background in museums and libraries. She can be seen in town tending the living willow structure project at the Sheldon Store and doing winter polar plunges at the local swimming hole. She loves to walk in the Merck Forest with her dog, Maddie.

Nancy Poletti
Communications Director

Nancy has a background in marketing and project management. Born and raised in NJ, Nancy has been a part-time resident of Southern Vermont for her entire life. She and her family recently relocated to West Rupert on a full time basis where they can be found making a mess in the garden.
